Real Estate Video Production is how I got started in in videography. Back then, panoramic "Virtual Tours" were the rage, and I've made my share of them that's for sure. Heck, I remember when digital pictures were the latest thing! At the time I was ok with pano's, but I knew there had to be something better to market my listings online with. I needed something that would help buyers more easily qualify my listings and at the same time, something that would help agents and my sellers save their time by not scheduling to show my listings to buyers that weren't familiar with the property and ultimately not interested in them after walking them. What a total waste of precious time! I figured that if the buyers could easily qualify the property by watching a video prior to scheduling a showing, that would be a blessing in and of it's self. Plus, if the buyers liked what they saw in the video, the walk-thru would statistically be more successful. Even if the buyers didn't make an offer right away, they could go back online and watch the video as often as they liked. As they say, "Necessity is the Mother of invention." so I turned to video and never looked back. Fortunately for me I had a background in voice-over production and the two go hand in hand. That was ten years ago. With my twenty plus years of experience as a licensed real estate broker in four states, and my technical skills, I had created a marketing plan with video that took me to places I never thought possible. Now, the popularity of internet video has exploded because of sites like "Youtube," I am lucky to be much farther along with internet video production, distribution and delivery than most. When the photos are scanned, emailed, or given to me on disc, I go back and edit each photo to enhance the picture quality before adding them to the montage. Then I like to add some flare to the photo montage with unique effects. I can also interview those who wish to say something to be added to the video or add pre-recorded audio recordings of those whom we wish to remember what the said or just how they sound.
